General application problems with M33

I have problems with the following apps on M33 and I was wondering if anyone can help me with them...

SNES9xTYL: Keeps crashing on me after reaching the main options screen.
PeP-Viewer: I can't scroll properly using the D-Pad at all.
PSPComic: I can't use the D-Pad at all even though I can get into the various CBZ files... I can't also switch between files in the CBZ file itself.
PSPlayerMT:Crashes.
SMSP-PSP: I can't use the D-Pad to select the ROMs or any options.

which folder did you put it in? GAME150 or GAME?
well the folder isn't the real problem

maybe you have had a bad flash to your custom firmware.
Check out THIS thread here to see if you have a fake memory stick.

I've just checked all my memory sticks [I can't seem to find the 32MB I got with the PSP] and they're all fake! *sob* Know of any good sites on eBay where I can buy genuine ones?

m33-7 is rock solid in my opinion. Not sure why people keep blaming it.

I've still got the same issues with wifi in some homebrew that existed in DAX

Also sandisk are faster than sony MS

I've replaced my analog stick and I'm still having the same problem even tho I've updated to M33 3.52 as well so I don't know what's causing the scrolling problems [As for the SNES9xTYL, it seems that's caused by me going into the readme file when I shouldn't...]

I've definitely checked all my memory sticks [both my 2GB and my 4GB] and they're both bloody fake! I didn't think they could affect certain homebrew in such a way in that they could make the D-Pad controls act screwy... *sob* Oh well, I guess it's 8GB all the way and I can always sell the fake ones on to CEX after backing the data onto my hard drive first. BTW, thanks for being such a big help to me in here, Acerthief and answering all my questions even if they sound silly...

Acerthief, should I replace the D-pad as well as the memory sticks or is it just the memory sticks that are causing the problem?

On another note, I bought a 4GB Memory Stick Pro Duo from eBay a couple of weeks ago for my PSP and I found it to be fake...

I politely emailed the seller explaining the situation and asking for a refund and I got a reply today saying that he would give me one but the only problem is that I threw the packaging away PLUS why should I have to go to all the trouble and hassle of sending the Memory Stick back to Hong Kong [that's where the item was sent from] just to get a full refund which is what he wants me to do...

He didn't come across as being a nasty guy or anything like that but I'm just concerned that if I send my Memory Stick back, I won't get my refund...

Do I have to send it back to get a refund or should I just sell said Memory Stick at a local videogame store and chalk it up to bad experience?

well try the D-pads for a bit longer, see how it works, i mean like if it worked well on other games rather than homebrew. always use a bit more time to check on hardware problems.

for memory stick, hm... i'd sell it at a local shop, saves time and a lot of trouble but to be honest i rather not make that decision for you, cause there are too much other consequences to look at.
buy sandisk, and not from ebay, lol. WAY less chance getting a fake. i use sandisk for flashing and it's way better.

where do you live though? cause hong kong sounds like a really far place from you.(just guessing XD)

I live in the UK which is why I'm a bit pissed that the seller wants me to go to all this trouble to send the Memory Stick back and pay extra postage and packing...

Are there any good sites where I can get a 8GB Sandisk for a obscenely cheap price [around $120-$125 US Dollars and who ship to the UK?]

You guys also have to remember that 8GB memsticks don't detect the last 4GB, if I'm not mistaken. So it's just a slightly larger 4GB, because it can't detect any files that start and end past the 4GB limit. (I may be wrong on this but I believe I've heard this)
