.GIF recorder or screenshot for 5.01

Hello again, lol

i had the gif recorder,screenshot app on my psp running fine for 3.90 and i believe 4.01
when i upped to 501 it doesnt work, i can LIVE without the gif recorder (but rather not) I also cannot take any more screenshots. I tried installing irshell and going through that for screenshot, to no avail (yes it was enabled) i tried the fusa screenshot i found here and nothing. I toggled the plain modules in umd/iso option in the recovery (i read that somewhere here) and nothing.

Naturally i downgraded bak to 390 and it works, i would keep it there but it screws up some of my gamesaves and dont really wanna constantly change fw back and forth, so any ideas/suggestions

I'm sorry, do you mean 5.00? A custom firmware based on 5.01 was never released, at least not of the M33 series. And while I know other firmwares exist, they likely have compatibility issues with the majority of plugins released today, since nearly everything is written specifically for M33. If you have a PSP Slim, the "Custom Firmware Extender" plugin can record video in-game as well as take screenshots. However it is limited to Slim units only due to extra memory usage.

If you don't have a Slim, Weltall's screenshot plugin should work fine on 5.00 M33-4. Unfortunately I don't know of any plugin able to capture video that will work on a Phat PSP running the latest M33 revision.
