Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced that Go!Messenger, a portable wireless communication package for PSP, will launch this coming Friday in European territories.

Go!Messenger allows all PSP owners to video, voice and instant message (IM) each other via wireless broadband hotspots. Using the sold separately Go!Cam, users can make video calls to one another. The Go!Cam is not yet released, but is scheduled to hit PAL regions in May.

The Go!Messenger client will be available as a download by selecting the Go!Messenger icon found under the Network subsection in the PSP's XMB.

Brings Friends Closer Together With Go!Messenger

Video chat, voice chat and instant messaging for PSP

27th February 2008. Friends and Gamers can be that little closer together with the launch of Go!Messenger, the new wireless communication package for PSP

Is there any info on which European territories?

Well definitely the UK, but aside from that I'm not sure. The application is now available for download now though.

Can we use Go!Messenger in other country beside Eur ? For example like Japan, Asia and so on. I know we can change the region but somehow i don't know whether we can log in or not.

I think it is only for the Eu region for now because I couldn't register for it from Turkey, Middle East. The servers may be using IP filters.

Means i also cannot use it, guess will have to wait for it in the future time :(

I can't register because of the servers being slooooow.Anyway to register via my PC?

I had the same problem but I went to https://www2.bt.com/btPortal/application?origin=content.jsp&event=bea.portal.framework.internal.portlet.event&pageid=profile_centre&portletid=profile_centre&portletns=profile_centre&wfevent=link.profilecentre&siteArea=con.mya&com.bea.event.type=linkclick&oLDesc=null&oSiteArea=con.mya&oPJsp=content.jsp&oPt=login&oLName=BILLING_MY_ACC_SIGNUP&oOJsp=&oPg=my_account & made a bt.com account & then tried remaking using the existing account & that worked.

Go Messenger ceased to exist from April 2009.

SCE decided to withdraw support based on limited use.
