For anyone else that's interested, a month ago Google Play achievements support was finally added to Plants vs. Zombies for the first time in 14 years since it came out on Android. Unfortunately only achievements were added; no leaderboards or cloud support.
For those that already unlocked the achievements in-game years ago and happened to having never uninstalled the game afterwards simply update the game and get a free completion!
