[Guide]Make Advanced CTF

In this guide i will teach you how to make a full CTF with custom icons,gameboot,text and psp start up

Requirments:

-CTF Manager 5.00 (search google)
-RCO Editor 1.15 (search google)
-PSP with CXMB 3.3 (http://downloads.exophase.com/134/cxmb-v33)
-Some PRX's (http://forums.exophase.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=8191&d=1240671734)
-Sony PTF maker 1.4.0.0 (http://downloads.exophase.com/164/psp-custom-theme-converter-1400/)



FIRST:MAKE PTF


we need to make:

• A Wallpaper (.bmp, 480x272, 24bit True-color)
• A Preview Picture (.bmp, 300x170, 24bit True-color)
• An Icon (.png, 16x16, 256 color)

Then open up the Theme Converter. In the information tab, type the Title and Product ID with whatever you want. I personally type out the theme name. For the version, put 5.00 .

Go to the Wallpaper tab and locate your wallpaper that you made.Skip other tabs and go to the "Other" tab. Locate your PNG icon and preview picture.

Press F5 to export.


STEP2:GRAB FILES FROM FLASH 1 OR PRE-MADE THEME


Get files through PSP:

Connect your psp through USB on mode flash 1(set through vsh or recovery menus)
Find VSH folder that contains resource and module folders and copy it to your pc.Also copy font folder.


Or through pre-made theme:

Download any 5.00 ctf and then run CTF manager(refer to CTF manager part in the guide to know how to install PRX's)

From file menu select extract files from ctf,select ctf then 5.00 from fw menu then click on extract.

The files should be in directory called extracted in the output folder that you define.


STEP3:USING RCO EDITOR TO EDIT FILES

Open rco editor and open either files extracted from ctf or the one got from psp flash.

Open every file and replace images with images you like.

Also from text tab you can edit the text in the psp menus.

Also through page data you can edit items' places.


STEP4:USING CTF MANAGER TO MAKE CTF

First we need to install prxs,the program will ask you to on the first run only!

Locate each prx then choose 5.00 from fw menu then click on install

Then from file menu select create a ctf file

Locate edited VSH and Font folders,ptf you made and output folder.Then rename ctf as you wish and TA-DA we are done!


*NOTE THAT YOU MIGHT NEED TO REMOVE THE VSHMAIN COMMON_GUI AND PAF PRX FROM MODULE FOLDER THAT YOU GOT FROM PSP OR EXTRACTED FROM CTF.
