3 reasons this list is complete bullshit:
No Half-Life 1

This is a BRILLIANT point.
Half-Life revolutionised gaming. No exaggeration. First on my list for sure.

I don't even feel like listing the games that are on that list and really shouldn't be.

Well, I have a map download lined up for TF2, so I'm going to do some of that.

Btw, the ones I have in bold are undeniably influential.. just.. badly placed.

2. Tetris
What? Tetris is a fun puzzle game. That is it. No "influence".

6. Halo
ok, whatever. Halo was a fun fps. Half-Life was better, and did everything Halo did. Quite a bit before Halo came out.

10. GoldenEye
GOLDENEYEEEEEE! Fucking agreed.

13. Metal Gear Solid
Should be in top 10. I'd say about 7.

16. GTA San Andreas
You don't need to mention GTA twice. Seriously.

18. Zelda: A Link to the Past
Move this to where Ocarina is. And then remove Ocarina compltely. Now, Ocarina was brilliant, but it wasn't influential IMO. Because it was Link in 3d.

19. Gran Turismo
What you say? Put in Burnout or PGR\MSR. GT was NOT influential, it's a racing game that changed nothing about racing games.

22. The Orange Box
Drop one of the "2"s from the number. Putting this twenty places below is SHOCKING.

24. Tekken 2

So they DID but PGR in. Just... 9 places behind where it should AT LEAST be.

RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDGE.. hold it a second... where the fuck is Burnout.

Swap with GTA1.

42. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening
Huh. Not influential.

In FACT, the last 40 are all guilty of "not influential", except maybe Starfox. Especially OutRun 2.

These games are meant to be more influential than Half-Life? Doom? Maze War (first FPS and LAN game)?
