guitars?

Meh, Epiphones.

May as well relate in into this thread. Anybody have any experience with pedal boards? I'd rather have individual pedals that a multi effects processor - bands are currently on the horizon.

I sorta do. I have a crybaby wah, a BOSS DS-1 distortion pedal, and a line 6 tonecrunch pedal all lined up and feeding my amp. What specifically are you asking about?

Just generally what to use to get least resistance and the best tones. Also what order everything goes in.

Well, the order is up to you. There are literally an infinite amount of possibilities for pedal boards.

Just go to guitar center or wherever you go and buy short cables. I think monster sells them, that is the brand I would stick with.

I have an Ibanez RG7321. I love it haha, but I still am not used to ignoring that extra seventh string when playing songs that do not use it. But the added heaviness is awesome

I had a line 6 Spider II 2x210 but my old drummer broke it so I have a Line 6 UX1 Studio.

Boss BCB60 with Vox Classic Wah, Behringer chromatic tuner, Digitech RP50 (used for the distortion, soon to be replaced with line 6 distortion pedal), Digitech Whammy 4, Boss Loop Station RC-2

I had the spider 3 15wat. Im not a fan of them, Im saving up for a fender tube amp. Now those are beast. Im about halfway there :p

I'm in the same situation, there's a fender tube amp on amazon I'm after for my band.

I fI have enough money left from getting Sonisphere tickets anyway :p

Are you getting the Line 6 Uber Metal Pedal? I have that, and It's pretty good if you can find a tone you like, but I always screw with it and end up losing tones that I like for months at a time cuz I dont record them lol.

Cool, let me know if you find a sick sounding tone with it, I would love to figure out how to make a Periphery/After The Burial style tone, but I doubt that's possible with the pedal, as they both use AxeFx

I just found out that Bulb/Misha of Periphery made an official tone and you can download it if you have a POD XT, I hope it works with a POD Studio GX as well, cuz thats what Im planning to buiy

I'm pretty sure you can make a decent Djent tone in podfarm2. I usually stick with anything until it sounds good. Except in college where i have to DI the fucking guitars into logic's inbuilt shit program for guitars.

I think the podfarm sound files are universal, well I have reason to believe so.

Totally wanna get an axefx ultra

Has anybody done a keely mod to a boss ds-1 distortion? I have one, and been doing some research on that mod and kinda want to do it. How hard is it?
