ya and these save game exploits are not for us - the regular users anyway. its for the use of devs only to find kernel exploits or make an eloader.

did any of you actually read the article linked to?, this save game exploit is unlikly to work since he could only get the first two values to change, and not the ra which is what is needed, their are already other exploits in the work, so don't worry about it

all of them are based on game save and I don't think they will release to regular users any hen or cfw based on game saves exploits(and no kernel mode exploits yet). if ever they release, well only few will benefit since not everybody have access to umd games.:(

Have fun getting that to work, yay for converting to wchar_t.

It's not what the developers want, it's what they can... A save game exploit is mostly (if not always) just a user-mode exploit, which means you can't make a HEN or CFW from it. You need to have also a kernel exploit in order to take advantage of this used-mode exploit. And ksploits are very rare those days and only a few people have found some. So, it's not going to happen without a kernel exploit, anyway... Besides, as long as they release the save game exploit, it will be patched by SONY. That's why people don't waste time and opportunities releasing the user-mode exploits they already have: there is not practical use for the regular user.
