Have a bit of a problem with tranfering files

OK guys I haven't posted at exophase in ages so hello ^^

I'm having a bit of an annoying problem

I can't copy files over to my psp....yep

I haven't upgraded my FW in ages and my last update was 3.90 m33 so now I'm trying to update and I can't copy the files over to my psp.

On my pc with vista it looks like its transferring over but then it just gets stuck there and I end up with corrupted data.

On my pc with xp it says that it fails and need to close...and I get more corupt data.

I have tried this on two different psps with two different pcs...help:confused1:

I read that my file paths may be mislabled but I don't remember messing with them on either psp and they look fine to me.

Am I just doing something really stupid? I have never had this problem before -.-

Thanks for any help guys!

Edit: I forgot to mention that it is the 500.PBP file that refuses to copy over, sometimes when it doesn't crash on me I get a file can not be located error...then Crash boom bang

Edit again: ok nm that last remark random other things won't transfer over either I keep getting an error message saying that the file cannot be found.

I have already tried formatting my card to no avail -.-

IS the card magic gate supported?

Yep the card is fine and I found my problem, it was my usb cord!

Now don't I feel stupid!

I dug through my stuff and found another usb cord ( I have tons but can never find them)

And Viola! works! but I never noticed there was anything wrong with it becasue other files transferred fine and it still charges things and connects my devices so *shrugs*

Thanks for your help! you can go ahead and delete this thread if you would like since I figured it out  I really should have thought of that first...I knew it was something silly...

No worries, glad it was as easy as that, lol. Least you worked it out in the end :)
