Hello all, I recently installed 5.0M33-6 on my slim and I am seeing this problem with playing PSOne games. The PSOne games load fine (with or without the popsloader plugin) but I cannot seem to use the X, [], O, /\ buttons on the "Home" button menu. I cannot use the menu to change a single setting, heck I can't even quit the darn game without a hard reboot. The home button works, brings up the menu, and the d-pad buttons work on the menu and I can go up and down the menu but I can't select anything since the above four buttons or any other buttons for that matter don't work. Does anyone know how to fix this? Please let me know

Have you tried other pop's? No change on other pops?
I am assuming that it works fine on other FW's? If not, might be a hardware fault. check the downloads section for the PSXchecker app; this will check that your buttons are working.
If they do, then i might suggest either reseting Flash1, Back up your MS and reformat via psp OR Re-flash the FW.

I have a phat with 3.52M33-4 on it and the same games play fine on it, the slim has 5.0M33-6 and this is whats having trouble. I did install popsloader and no matter what version of pops, the exact same problem. I the buttons have to be OK, since they work fine during gameplay and anywhere else except under the "Home" menu. Any possible fixes or will I have to reinstall the CFW?
Re installed 5.0M33-6, no change whatsoever. What could be going wrong? I'm thinking about installing 4.01M33-2, can we use DCv8 to install 4.01 or do I need to create a seperate Memory Stick for it (DC6/7) ??
