Help my original xbox.....

My original xbox is making sounds everytime I plug in the power in the back.
Its more like spark sounds when its 1st starting up but after the game runs for few mins it stops.
In short terms-I plug ac adopter in the back, spark sounds happens nothing to do with the t.v is not on.
And if I need open to fix it what is best way mod my xbox for homebrew? Im going for hardmod if I can just use my computer to mod.

the connection where the power plug goes into the power source caused arcs and burned away all the solder, it's easy enough to fix. That happened to the xBox I had.

That was a standard issue with the first few releases of the xbox.

Yea i had an issue with the power supply in my xbox, I simply bought another one and it has worked like a charm ever since. Your best bet is to crack it open and inspect to see what is going on.

PS: MOD it...its fun! lol
