I was surprised at the 8GB of GDDR5. PS4 will have faster RAM if the rumor proves true of Durango having 8GB DDR3.

They'll probably be taking a loss on this. My prediction is around $400-450 for the baseline model, maybe that Kotaku rumor of $429 is on the mark.

A single Nvidia GTX 680 can pull 3 TFlops and can't handle Crysis 3 on max everything over 30fps if I remember correctly so while there would be less bloat than windows and there hopefully be better process scheduling on this hardware resulting in better performance, it's still underpowered compared to current high end hardware and that gap will just get wider. Same as with the PS3 and any other console, I'll wait to see what platform exclusives it gets although not banking on there being many as it is an x86 based machine.

Not impresed by Killzone 4. It has nice lighting. But model quality, even texture quality(Which are even more noticeable in the 4k screenshots) and AA leave a lot to be desired personally.
(Especially the latter in actual footage. Temporal shimmering abound! They are probably using MLAA..)

Crysis 2 modded looks just as good if not better

As long as they don't require online and don't block used sales. I will probably still get one. (mostly because I can't wait to see what companies like Falcom and Tri-ace do with the thing.)

I"m glad physical media is here to stay though. Last thing I need is 25-50GB game downloads eating up my 100GB Up/down per month bandwidth.

And maybe now we can stop having shit quality FMVs

I was also not impressed by some visible LOD changes in some titles shown. That's something I'd hope would disappear this generation. But it's too late to tell at this point.

Capcom's Demo was impressive. Luminous looked pretty much the same as it did before on PC with a GTX 680.(Hopefully they are still using some form of MSAA) with the same issues.(Specular aliasing, temporal shimmering, some pixellated shadow maps)

So that is very promising at least.

I can't find a single 1080p Video of the UE4 demo, which worries me. The damn thing could only run @1080p 30FPS with FXAA on a 680.

Hopefully it can do comparable.

No backwards compatibility is disappointing. And I refuse to pay for some crappy streaming lossy service. I'd rather pay for "Full HD Editions/collections"

You'd think they'd at least be able to get software emulation of PS1/2 down without issue.

Part of me thinks they will bring back PS1 and 2 classics and still not enable disc access use for them.

Was kinda hopping for 4k support, that a bit disappointing, I hope it can still use 2.5 inch HDD like my ps3. No Backwards compatibility kinda sucks but I plan on keeping my ps3 around for quite a while untill things get up to speed. It a shame they cant even handle some psn games :( I cant spend more then 500 on this thing so if it over that forget about pre ordering this thing.
