hey i am new here and i am from india i have n73me 2gb i want to buy a new phone but which should i buy iphone or iphone 3g which is better and good

reply soon

thanks

The 3G can still be unlocked if you wish to do so (I would buy now before the new 3.0 firmware is released that blocks the unlock), it is also better in terms of specification as far as I know. Don't take my word for it though.

Thanks for replying but besides 3g in iphone is there any other function missing
in iphone 2g. because there is no use of 3g network in india its not even launched here the 3g network not iphone 3g

The 3G is slighter slimmer, has a GPS and 3G, but that's basically it. If there is no 3G in your area than yeah, the original will be just as fine.

Go with the iPhone 2G then, if its quite a bit cheaper. If its a tiny difference, still got with the 3G.

IMO the 3G looks cooler though. I think it might have more application support too.

And besides, when 3G is in your area, you'll be ready.

Well IMO the 3g looks cheap and the 2g looks way better with the silver back.

I'd say go for the 2g. Cheaper and looks better.

But thats just my opinion :)

If you don't need/have no use for the 3G network standard, I'd say get a "2G" one.

Mostly because Apple will never be able to block the unlock on it, as the security has pretty much fully been breached on that thing :D

3G is useless in India. Even when it comes out it will be bloody expensive. Even for GPRS Vodafone charges 50p per 10KiB. You'll be charged like 10 bucks just to open a single page!

If you are buying from official channels then you only get locked 3Gs in India. And it costs 36,000 bucks here for something thats available for 200$ abroad. Its daylight fucking robbery. And your still locked to the carrier who you have to pay some more for the connection!
