are you sure you didn't overwrite the EBOOT.PBP in the recovery folder?

as an alternative you can just grab the 3.03 OE-C files, make the dxar, and then run the 3.03 OE-C flasher straight from 3.40 OE-A.

oo i didnt realise you could go to an older firmware (OE). Thanks for the reply, also could you advise me on the best UMD/PSX game ripping software, and pops loader, as i herd that DAX doesnt work on his later firmwares.... Thank you in advance

Thanks for he heads up, i was just wondering, is ImgBurn the same as DVDDecrypter?? I had a look at the screenshot and it seems ingredibly similar. If someone could give me a comparison, that would be great, (i dont really want to download the same software under a different name). Cheers

As i understand it, ImgBurn is the new version of DVD Decrypter. The name was changed for legal reasons.

This is completely off topic. DVD Decryptor was discontinued. ImgBurn is based on DVD Decryptor and hence uses some of the original code (I think), however, ImgBurn is maintained with updates and support.

I use DVD Decrypter as it inergrates with DVDShrink 3.2. do you think it would be a good idea to see if DVD Decryper will work, and if not, get ImgBurn?

Bustin' out with the ISOs

I've always used ImgBurn for my ISO making needs but for whatever reason many of the PSone games I've converted would just go to an endless black screen where all I could do is return home.
I've since started using the free version of IsoBuster to make my ISOs and I haven't had any issues.
Your mileage may vary but now I use IsoBuster for all my PSX2PSP needs.
