ok i know sounds noobish, but now i suddenly have a doubt which as to mobo i have, i've been thinking i have a ta-088v3,
I have a psp 3004, i think its the uk version, got it with 4.20 ofw, month and year of import are oct 2008,,,,

wanted to know if all psp 3000's came with the ta-090 mobos, saw that the m33 now works also on 088v3 mobos, of psp 2k, since i've been thinking i have a ta-088v3 mobo on a psp 3000[which i guess its not], wanted to know which mobo i have in my psp

serial no. starts with hc , has a date code 8c, well i was trying to check on other sites how to identify the mobo, now am confused????

you can find a identify software for ur psp，then run it.i'd used one,but not in my disk now.

ALL PSP-3000's currently have a TA-090v2 motherboard, which Custom Firmware Loader does not work on.

Yeah, my psp has datecode 8C from release day (UK) and it has a TA-90v2.
Don't even think otherwise because the TA-88v3 couldn't have supported the new screen and mic as seen when 'Royginald' swapped the 2k mobo into a 3k and the screen wouldn'y turn on.
In short, a PSP 3k is DEFINITELY a TA-90v2/TA-90v3 (incredibly new off the line mobo)

Look at the serial number behind the battery (as in take out the battery and look in the PSP, there will be a white rectangle with black writing).

If you have a PSP-200x and it starts with HU, you have TA-088V3.
If you have a PSP-300x, you have a PSP-3000, so no CFW launcher for now.
If you have anything else then HU on the 200x you can use pandora.
