I need PSP Firmware Help

Well I wanted to have Gameboy games on my PSP.I download everything
for it except custom firmware.

My PSP is Version 3.72.Im pretty sure its the Phat kind.I have a 1GB Memory stick.


anyway I download M33 PSP Update ver 3.71 into my PSP.
When I go to use it it says "The system software of your PSP is 3.72.
There is no need to update."

What should I do?Im completely lost :crying:

you will need to use a pandoras to install custom firmware. (if im not mistaken the last software driven downgrade was 2.71).

Pandoras will install CFW. It takes about 30 seconds. Unfortunately you will need access to a CFW psp to create a proper pandora set.

You will need a Pandora Battery, and the error you getting is accurate 3.71 M33 is lower 3.72.

On Firmware 3.71(and anything greater) only pandora can be used.

I can't do that because I don't have a psp with custom firmware on it.

Sorry if I sounded a bit,well,stupid.
This is pretty much that last thing I want to do with my PSP.
Ive gotten saves,movies,shows everything except this.

Just frustrated I guess. -.-

& then you either; Borrow, Buy (datel battery), Hardmod a battery to pandora.

These can be used to create what you need in order to get CFW.
