i need some help before buying PSP.

hey

before writting to ask for help, i read alot about hacking the psp
here and other places

i already have PSP 1000, with m33 firmware
but now am thinking to take PSP 3000

1- all wat i wanna know if i can play the game images same i do on psp 1000 by installing custome firmware??
i read so many things here but it made me more confused, so i dont wanna kill my new
psp??

2- other thing, can i play the games which i already got for psp 1000 on psp 3000??
cuz i read about another software called GEN??

3- one last thing, is there any custome firmware for PSP GO??

i know i asked alot, plz be patient with me, am not very good in this thing
and i need ur help

1. If the new 3000 has FW lower than 5.03 then it is possible, however you should have the originals and so it should not present a problem either way.

2. As above - GEN is another FW similar to M33 but made by another team.

3. No, i doubt there ever will to the general public at least

Bottom line is that it is possible to run a custom fw enabler on a psp-3000, but it will never run a true CFW (same applies to TA-088v3 Slims).
