I think I bricked it 2.6 slim

I have tried this tutorial with a normal slim 1200 battery (put into TOOL mode using the MAX Battery Service Tool) and have a problem.

I got all the way to the part where you put the TOOL battery into the PSP and press 'x'.

The two lights on the left flashed for a few seconds and then the PSP turned itself off.

I then tried turning on the PSP whilst holding the 'R' button however nothing happened, it turned on but the green light stayed on.

I assume I bricked the PSP?

I tried running through the guide again, running the newbi installer but now when I press 'x' nothing happens.

I checked the log file on the memory stick and I found this error message :

PSAR decode error, pos=0x0000E080.

Any clues?

Now you'll need to unbrick it.Since you already have a pandora's battery it will be easy.Check the on the tutorials for Despertar del Cementerio v4 or v5.You can use easy installers if you want.
