"I watched this film today and I recommend/don't recommend it."

This is gonna sound kinda weird, but having not seen any of the Back to the Future's ever and finally getting Netflix, I had the first one sent.....And it was absolutely amazing. I loved every part of it, and I'm pissed the other two aren't streamable on Netflix.



EDIT: Also, started watching 30 Rock, and I've got to recommend that too. I like its witty laid back style

Batman: The Movie (1960)
Absolutely fucking hilarious film. Highly recommended to any fans of utter absurdity.
 
Hachi: A Dog's Tale.

Awesome movie, loved it.
 
Machete. Stupid, pointless violence. Worth a watch, if you enjoy that sort of thing, otherwise, skip it.
 
Watched Resident Evil: Afterlife and Degeneration again a few days ago.

Afterlife was... Ok, if you like slow "3D in 2D" kind of thing(that is, if you don't have a 3D enabled TV).
Degeneration was great. I personally liked it.
 
Tron: Legacy is basically this year's Avatar: amazing visuals, not that great of a story. It's just a modernization of the original Tron, and doesn't aim for the same philosophy and integration. I enjoyed it as a simple movie though, and Daft Punk's scoring has got to be the best I've heard yet. It truly needs to be experienced with the movie.

I saw Due Date Today thought it was pretty good funny as hell.
 
Tron Legacy.
I'm a huge fan of the original, and while I wasn't disappointed, I wasn't blown away either. I loved the effects and the time spent on the Grid, but I just didn't care about the characters. Not enough time was spent developing any of them.
If you just want to spend more time on the Grid, go see it, it's worth it, otherwise, don't expect much.

I love this track, I couldn't help but bop my head in the cinema. Just came home from seeing the movie and the special effects are great and the soundtrack kept giving. I pretty much agree with everything Riorio99 said except for the fact that I haven't seen the original (probably should watch it some time soon, though).
 
I have just finished watching the new film "legends of the guardians" and i would say that i would recomend it especially if you are with your gf as it is quite amusing and cute yet wont distract from anything else ;) hope this helps
 
We didn't do shit last night, but did watch a good chunk of a Party Down marathon, Layer Cake, and Get Him to the Greek.

I forgot how good Layer Cake was.
