Just saw Avatar in 3D... it is an amazing movie. I loved it, really good.
I definitely recommend it.
Watched the Hangover, was extremely dissapointed, a lot of people said it was hilarious, and all it was, was mindless humor. It had it's moments, but I would not recommend it to anyone. But, hey, it's my opinion, my sense of humor may be different than yours, if you want to waste 2 hours of your life watching a dull movie about 4 drunks that can't remember a thing, and spend the entire movie trying to find their lost friend, go for it.
I want to check it out in IMAX. I'm not really interested in the movie plot, but more the 3D technology and where Cameron pushed it to.
Watched Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist last night... Really liked it. I mean, REALLY... My crushes on Kat Dennings and Micheal Cera has grown to almost dangerous proportions...
Also, surprisingly hilarious... I was not expecting to laugh out loud as much as I did.
Just watched the trailer.
Did you get a free box of Maxi Pads when you rented it?

Saw Sherlock Holmes. It was pretty good, as always Robert Downey, Jr. did a great job, as well as Jude Law. It's quite funny here and there, but some jokes fall flat. Obviously some changes have been made to tailor to audiences that like a good blockbuster. It's a smart and entertaining film that you should expect quite a few twists and turns from. Recommended.
Allright. Saw Avatar in 3d today.
Incredible on a technical stand point. A visual orgazm for my eyes. And the 3d effect was damn good. At times it all felt almost totally realistic, including the whole world and the natives. But the cliche and damn predictable pochahontas tale really irritated me, even if I did in the end actually felt sad for them. And it all still felt a little too clean and perfect. If it was just a tad grittier and less colors. Anyways, one of the best cinema experince I have had in many years.
8/10
I watched it last weekend and my conclusion was the same. Amazing cinematics, and an overdone story.
Watched The Invention of Lying. It's hilarious and well-written, as expected from Ricky Gervais. He tackles a lot of stuff like religion in the movie, and makes jokes out of all of them. As you watch it, a lot of little stuff really makes you think about "what if" questions and what is going on in their world. There are some gripes here and there, like things that obviously should happen but don't, but they don't have a big impact on the story itself. All in all, recommended.
