"I watched this film today and I recommend/don't recommend it."

Yeah that was my gripe with in too, it was unusually obvious for Ricky Gervais. Like putting the rules on pizza boxes, it was a little shallow.

I watched 'Brothers' the other day. I don't recommend it if you don't like allot of drama. The story is a bit 'fucked', it has some strange twist that don't make sense.

I DO recommend 'V for Vendetta', my favorite movie :D.

American Psycho, it's a dark satirical and psychological thriller with Christian Bale, and it's very different. Loved Bale's performance, and I think it's definitely worth a watch.

Also got to see Pan's Labyrinth at last, and it was just as amazing as I'd heard. The way they managed to create two completely different themes of the film and merge them into one is very clever, and it fits perfectly.

Edit: Oh, also saw Up In The Air, it's a decent comedy/drama/romance that you should check out if you haven't, and a Screener has been released already if you don't fancy the cinema.

Oh yeah, Pan's Labyrinth was great.

I saw Holmes the other day. It's not a "f* awesome" movie but it was quite good.

Also I recommend REC and REC 2. Two good spanish horror flicks. The first one is better though.

I've also watched the Swedish movie Let the right one in, but hated it.

How come you hated it? I thought it was really good, caught me by surprise really considering I had never heard of it before.

It was too slow for my taste and I was kinda expecting better, after all the buzz I had heard from it... Still it's my opinion though :p

Just saw Daybreakers. Not a bad movie, but a few of the blatant rip-offs from that shitty saga you know I'm referring to kinda turned me off. Pretty gory though, and a good bit of action and a decent plot that was unique for the most part. If you feel like heading to the movies anytime soon, not a bad choice.

Pandorum, it was pretty cool, It reminded me of Dead Space.

The Proposal, it was decent, pretty funny i guess, but super predictable for the most part

I enjoyed the The Proposal as well, it was a nice movie to watch with a date..

Also agree with Andy Up in the Air was a good movie I paid to see it even tho I have the SCR now.

Up In The Air: not my first choice (I was going to see The Road or Avatar) but if you don't like the rest of the lineup right now, do check it out. If you're not going to the cinema check out the SCR, well worth at least the dl.

Just saw Seven Samurai, an old ass movie, but regardless of the low quality of sound/music and video, it still was unbelievably interesting.

I might begin to check out Akira Kurosawa's other films, I've heard good things about several of them.

I watched Sherlock Holmes iy was a very good film, some very nice fight scenes, some funny parts thrown in aswell.

Really worth a watch.

Star Trek (2009) Really big and action-y, with some entertaining lazor fights, but focused too much on introducing all the different characters, and separating it from the main series.

The Number 23, Entertaining little thriller. Jim Carrey is excellent, and the premise of the film is very good, although the twist kind of sucks and ruins the movie a little bit.
