Agreed, but I loved the movie and the comic. They're both seperate entities with the same characters and basic plot.

Both rule, I would advise that everyone check out both.
 
The main difference between the comic and the movie that I didn't like is[BLACKOUT] that he gets the girl, it felt like it was done to give it a happy Hollywood ending.[/BLACKOUT] But I've heard from several people that the movie script was started before the comic series was even finished. All in all I'm happy that it wasn't exactly like the comic, I wouldn't have liked the movie as much as I did if I knew every single thing before it happened.

On Topic: Avatar DVD. Story still sucks, and the effects lost a lot of their impressiveness without 3D and an enormous screen. Still worth a watch if your into sci-fi.

By mindless, I mean you don't really have to pay attention to the story details. You're just watching Stallone be a bad ass, killing everyone. You already know how the movie is going to end, but it's still enjoyable.

It is a pretty good movie, I haven't seen it in awhile.


On Topic: The Warriors - Directors Cut. Absolute classic gang movie. A tad homo-erotic in places, but the story is ace, and the violence is fun. I'm not too sure about the comic-style scene wipes in the directors cut, but it doesn't detract from the film in any way. Very, very good film comes highly recommended.
 
Ironman 2 get a Good see for me.
 
Moon is simply one of the best Sci-fi films to come out in years. The DVD box compares the film to 2001 and Blade Runner, and before I watched it, I highly doubted it would reach the same level of pure genius as two of my favourite films ever, but it damn well got close.

The plot twists early on, but you still have genuine feelings for the main character when he discovers it. Go watch it, you will not regret a single second of it.

I loved Moon, really wish I could've seen it at the cinema but there were none near me showing it.

Same here. It was either wait for DVD or catch the train for two hours to a different city. I wish I had caught the train now.

He explains that his previous experiment, a creature made of three dogs, died. However, he explains how he will attach the three human subjects to each other to form what he refers to as a 'human centipede'.

Anyway there isn't much to the movie, it's not scary or gory, all in all a pretty bad movie that for some reason I enjoyed.

I've heard about it and I was planning to watch it until I heard it was utter crap...attempting at another audition type film, but falls short. A sequel is still planned though I think.

There is a sequel, according to the wiki this was more of a demo/beta film to explain the concept of the main film that comes out next year.

Ever since watching the trailer I refuse to believe it's a serious film.

I finished watching City of God earlier today, really breathtaking film. It's a Brazilian crime/drama film about gang-ridden slums of Rio de Janeiro, and I was gripped all the way through.
 
Downloaded Daybreakers earlier, I was not impressed. They could have done much, much more with the premise.

I agree with you i watched this last night and to be honest i did like the idea behind it but dont see how it would work for as long as it did...Wasnt a bad movie though just not sure if its own worthy...also watched a bit of Legion and that was..Meh The Chick in the Black Mini Skirt was pretty cute


and tonight I get to watch Zombieland and gonna watch new Moon as well
