If anyone finds a new exploit/vulnerability for the PSP it is a must that they don't spread the word about it and secretly work on it with themselves and few trusted developers and release it on September 31st, Otherwise, Sony will catch on and prevent it from happening on the PSP Go. Since all current PSPs can run custom firmware there is no point really on releasing a new exploit.

Seeing as the most likely people to find an exploit already know and understand this, there's not much use making a thread for it.

Should the Go really be hacked anyways?

No, it must NOT be hacked. I'm hoping the PSP Go will not go on the same track with the PSP

Let's just get both sides of the coin clear here so this can be done with:

A: Anyone that has the ability to find a new exploit and POSSIBLY use it knows this info already.
B: This has happened before. It's always a cat and mouse game. I know what you're thinking. "Please leave the exploit so they don't fix it!" It's not a fix or new information. Any software based exploit they don't want they will try and fix if possible.

I don't see why this common sense information is in any way important. Even more so to the people with the ability to code in the first place.

Point being, this thread has little point. It's like telling a developer not to delete flash0 because they will brick. It's like asking sony to hack your psp. There's no need for this information or attempts even if it's well intended.
