Installing 3.71 M33-4 ?

Installing 3.71---->3.71 M33-4 ?

I have an fat PSP runing on 3.71 version I got since I updated it from my latest game I bought.

How do I update it to 3.71 M33-4. I'm a total newbie at this so I'm totally lost. I've looked in the guides and other stuff on the forum but I haven't found anything that I understand.

Do I need to downgrade it to 1.50 and then upgrade it from there or ?
 
Yes you'd have to either Downgrade to 1.5 or have someone you know who has a Panroda Batter, and magic memory stick to Format and install 3.71M33 to your PSP.

You CAN NOT upgrade to any CFW on Official Firmware directly.
 
Although that battery will work, it's not all that you need to install a custom firmware on your PSP. You'll also need the files on the "Magic" Memory Stick, which has the installer for the custom firmware. Without these, you'll just be stuck with a battery that you can't really use for anything. Unfortunately, we can't distribute these files and you'll need a PSP that can run homebrew to make the files.

Your best bet would be to find a friend that has a hacked PSP and they can help you as well. Good luck downgrading/installing custom firmware!! :)
