Installing Custom XMB Themes

This tutorial will be on how to flash in custom themes to your psp the manual way.
•Before you modify any of your flash you should to backup your flash0. In case ever get a semi brick from adding a theme you will be able to recover by putting the original files in there place.
•For windows user who only see 4 folders in your flash0 you may need to do this: In windows go to tools>view. Check the Show hidden files and folders and uncheck Hide protected operating system files (recomended). Once your done messing with your flash you can revert to your normal settings.:U

Manual Flash0 Backup
1. Boot to recovery mode
2. Go to advance>Toggle USB (Flash0)
3. Hook your psp to computer via usb
4. Copy the five files you see to a safe folder wherever on your computer

Now that you have your Flash0 backed up its safer to flash your custom theme in.

Flashing Custom Theme
1. Boot to recovery mode
2. Go to advance>Toggle USB (Flash0)
3. Hook your psp to computer via usb
4. Download your wanted theme or mods. [Find some at these websites: mods, Themes 1 2 ]
Make sure it is compatable with your firmware.
5. Overwrite the flash0 files with all of the custom ones. [If there is not enough room or you get an error you will need to make space. To do this quickly delete the x:/dic folder in your flash. Not putting all files may result in a brick]
6. Once the process of putting the custom files is complete you may exit.
7. The new theme should be on your psp if you followed the instructions correctly.
