Is my psp bricked?

I shut down my psp when i opened it again it didnot show anything, just a black screen with the power light blinkin at a very slow rate. i tried to close my psp but it didnt work. if it is bricked, tell me how to unbrick it. plz help me out!
 
What was you doing prior to you shutting it down? If it was bricked the light would stay on as green or blink and go off.

Sounds more like hardware failure to me.

Do you have a pandora set up?
 
does it work using AC power only?
