Ok, so I want croc 2 for my psp. The problem is, I don't have the ps1 version, and don't know anybody who has it. I have it for PC though, is there a way to rip the files off of there like you would with a ps1 game, and convert the files or something to get it to work with psp? :confused1: Sorry if this is in the wrong topic, I wasn't too sure where to ask this. xD

I did make a post blindly saying no, its not possible, however...

Well, its still not going to work. Croc 2 for the PC just will not function with the current available emulation software out there for the PSP. However, there is a x86-based emulator named DosBox that does show some promise. It is not yet to the level of running 3d-accelerated directx games, as far as I can see.

This is what I found on it: http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=83309

And also: http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&c...&resnum=0&ct=result&cd=1&q=psp+dosbox&spell=1 - the google search that took me there.

Haven't been able to find his official site yet though, still wondering myself what dosbox can and cannot do, looks to me like basic x86 support, older dos games maybe.

Also, this is interesting: http://popuw.com/psp.html

Awesome
DOSBox PSP is a POS. Compatability is way too low to be considered a viable means of running DOS apps.

Of course, but its better then nothing. It can do some things, and though early in development and developed for other platforms initially, it shows promise.

I got sim city classic running on it, and it lags. lol.
