You may not know the name Ramon Stokes, but you've probably seen his works before. He is the creative force behind Morpheon Mods, whose creations include a custom God of War PSP and gold Zelda-themed Nintendo DS Lite.
Ramon is back, this time with a custom-made, one-of-a-kind Metal Gear Solid 4 PlayStation 3. The entire unit and controller have been given a sleek paint job consisting of carbon fiber and midnight black, covered with nine layers of DuPont Chroma Clear coat. Additionally, the laser cut stainless steel Metal Gear Solid 4 marquee has been fitted with 15 white micro LEDs that serve as a backlight to not only the marquee but the entire etching.
To top it all off, the unit is signed by Hideo Kojima himself and comes with an assortment of MGS-branded goodies -- including a GA-KO alarm clock, t-shirt, Fox Hound vinyl decal, an MGS 4 strategy guide, and dog tags from launch day. No offense to Konami -- but this puts their limited edition "Gun Metal" PS3 to shame. Also, incase you were wondering, this is a 60GB PS3, so backwards compatibility with PS2 titles is included. Right now bids are hovering around the steep price of $11,000.
