But you're stupid enough to generalize all of those who have bricked their PSPs as stupid.
Anyways, yes you can charge it, since the PSP still works, but only the flash0 was screwed up.

Yes, you can charge it. It's the flash files that have been damaged, not the physical form.
@PSP3k: You don't have to be stupid to brick a PSP. Dark_Alex would have bricked many PSP's whilst breaking through the sony wall of bullshit. So that makes him stupid then? Where's your CFW? Post something useful or GTFO.

even a PSP with a dead CPU can carge a PSP, i've tested it my self
you can even purposely brick a hackable PSP and try it out and it will charge, just tested it a little while ago

in most of the cases spoken of here, 'bricked' psps have the contents of their flash0 broken and are unable to boot.
The other, the cpu is broken
The only way a 'brick' could stop you is if the 'brick' was due to a broken line between the battery and electronics... It is possible to not be able to charge a battery through a psp that actually works, and is possible to have a brick that does the same
It's really unlikely you'd be talking about this, but it could brick and have the capability to charge, and it could be bricked and not have the capability to charge the psp.
