Yeah, probably not such a good start to microsofts "advanced" recognition system.
However, I think it's a lighting issue rather than a completely systems-fault issue.
As one user on the site posted, an albino would likely have the same problems with the system. However, at least it only seems to be applying to facial recognition features, and not the entire system itself.
Then, Kinect would be REALLY racist.
