My Dell inspiron 1525 doesnt recognize my dell battery and wont charge it. Some time it will randomly charge. i have taken my laptop apart and made sure every thing was tight but it still wont charge.Is there a way to force it to charage or make it recognize the battery?
 
Hmm, an odd problem that is usually the result of something going wrong hardware-wise (meaning not much you can do besides buy a new one or contact dell support - it could be your laptop, the battery or even the AC adapter). If you can I would suggest trying to update your BIOs to the latest version (can get that from Dell's website hopefully)
 
i dont know if its the laptop or the battery my bios is the latest version and my laptop only runs on ac no power from my battery

it just gets so annoying when my charger falls out and my laptop turns off because my battery is dead
