One of things I like about 360 updates is the fact that they take less than 5 minutes to download and install, compared to the frequent 30 minute updates from PSN

I think the update was Ok. I don't think I am too keen on spending money on buying clothes, props, etc. Anyhow, I wanted to post a question. I noticed yesterday after installing the update that my Friends that had already isntalled this as well had a little number (1,2,3,etc.) in the gold or silver bar in their profile where their gamertag appears. Does anyone know what this number corresponds to?

5 minutes? Mine took about 80 seconds.

I don't even want to turn on my PS3.

The numbers stand for how long you have been a Gold Member in years, etc.

For the record, this update patches a security hole that could be used to run homebrew on your Xbox 360, allegedly with little effort. Update at your own discretion.
