LittleBigPlanet Gold, Worldwide October Release Dates Pinned

Sony today announced that Media Molecule's PS3 exclusive world-creation title LittleBigPlanet has officially gone gold. With that, comes worldwide release dates. We know it's hitting Japan on October 30, but for the rest of the world? North America gets it a week earlier on the 21st, with a 22nd release following in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Folks in the UK and Ireland will have to wait till the 24th to pick up their copy.

The late October debut will coincide with the release of a free Spaceman costume for Sackboy. Additionally, a "Week One" Sackboy t-shirt will be made available as DLC throughout the launch week.

<p>Talk about a game that was slated time again again to be "released" at certain dates. I wouldn't be surprised if Sony keeps "delaying" this like they do with @home among other things.</p>

<p>it's not Bashing, i happen to Favor Sony over the 360 (and yes i do own both systems)</p>
<p>It's just with all the false date's they been setting up for releases, chooses me to have the opinion that i wouldn't be surprised if they delay another thing that was supposed to be out. Like they have down with other games or firmware updates and the like, in the past.</p>
