MAGICGATE Status: MISSING!!! HELP!!

I'm running a PSP with Dark_Alex's 3.40 OE-A custom firmware, and I'm fully aware that it includes the MAGICGATE status for the memory stick. However, when I decided to check my new memory stick for the status to see if it was supported or unknown, it doesn't even show up, it is like the magicgate status text was never there in the first place. It doesn't make any sense, I've changed my XMB icons in flash0. Perhaps is this why it's not working?

Yeah it doesnt show if you have modified XMB icons

Or at least modified text. I remember I had custom text and it was all cut off in the popstation menus 'n' such, it was cool but ones like that just cause problems.

Ahh'. Cause I had a custom font before but it still showed. I'll try changing my icons back. Thanks for the help. XD

UPDATE: I've restored my original XMB icons and it's working again, I can see the MAGICGATE status again. Thanks again for the help guys.
