MfM Treasure Chest

OP is updated. Really impressed with the turn-out we have.

I'll look around and see what I can find for the treasure chest. I know they give out boxes at the post office but I don't know how well it will hold up after being sent around the world.

I'm thinking one of the flat rate medium boxes from USPS are gonna have to be used.

So be gentle, this treasure chest is going halfway across the world. I have to ship off some DS flashcarts tomorrow, and I plan on shipping the treasure chest out tomorrow as well. tave or Josey are probably going to be the last ones to receive them since they're the oddballs out.

We will just go down the list of USA, then Europe, then tave or Josey.

I've been thinking about putting my name down for this, because I think it'd be a cool thing to do. I keep looking back at the thread to read the new posts and stuff, and I really am on the verge of saying I'll do it; at the same time though, my family generally not using the internet at all, would find it extremely strange. Basically what i'm trying to say is, I'm with you in spirit. Lawl.

Not really. What I think would be cool is, if this were to happen, that you keep a running log of what each member contributed, and if possible pictures of it in a range of different locations. Remember the Locations thread? If the user is near a famous landmark or a well-known place, it would be pretty awesome for them to post a picture of the box there, so we could see where it's travelled. Even something like tracking the total distance it's travelled from house to house would be pretty awesome; Just something to keep the users that arn't contributing in the loop.

Otherwise, good thread, awesome idea. :tup:

Yeah that sounds like a good idea. The total distance traveled idea is interesting. See if we can pass 7,000 miles or something like that.
