Microsoft Offers To Replace Scratched Halo 3 Discs

Following a number of reports that Halo 3 Limited Edition game discs were being scratched due to defective packaging, Microsoft has added the Halo 3 LE disc and and Essentials disc to its disc replacement program.

Under normal circumstances the disc replacement program charges a $20 fee to replace a disc, but since the issue with Halo 3 was a manufacturing problem, Microsoft will replace both discs free of charge until December 31.

To get your game disc replaced, head on over to Xbox.com and fill out the PDF form.

I happened to have received one of those scratched disc. But I got an exchanged for it.
