Server is down. But this time I have an error to work with, so I might keep it down for a bit.

Server is up, let me know if you've lost anything and I'll try the backups that are much more frequent now. The same thing happened as before...the server froze and didn't kill the process.

Edit: oh and I added you to the whitelist El Xando
 
Woooo minecraft.net is down and even when I occasionally manage to sign in Minecraft doesn't let me join the server :(

:(, Server restarts every 2 hours now.

Edit: There are now borders 1000 blocks from spawn.
 
The minecraft server is going to either be down for maintenance or any changes you make in game from this point on to until I say so will NOT BE SAVED. I repeat, WILL NOT BE SAVED.

We'll try and keep the "downtime" as short as possible.
 
There was a duplicate caesium_ on the server today, I can assure you the problem has been dealt with and only one caesium_ remains.

Obviously getting the server in working and reliable order is priority #1, but could it be possible to have one non-winter chunk to grab some of their delicious, delicious resources?

EDIT: Just saw ES's post on the border thing.
 
FYI, the maintenance is to remove the snow on the map. The snow was turned off so nothing freezes and no snow reforms but it was realized that with everything staying frozen and snowy it was just as bad.

Snow not reforming has gotten to be a pain, things look pretty out of place now since not everything's is white anymore.
