We'll see what I can do for you Josey. Anyway I'm in Chicago now, the big party is tonight so I should have some time to check shit out tomorrow. It's too bad all the updates are not coming yet, I was really hoping for damage in SMP.
 
Seems like, from twitter at least, that a lot of the functions don't work properly in SMP (portals being one of them) and Notch is planning on fixing a few bugs for another release tomorrow most likely.
 
The Nether isn't working for me. I create a portal, but when I exit, all the blocks are transparent. May have something to do with texture packs.

Also, exiting from the same portal I entered warps me to some sky-portal that I didn't make. Is this intended?

Being in a world with those textures would be the real hell in the game.
 
Portals don't work on Multiplayer :(
I made one but standing in it does nothing. Maybe you need to make a new map for this to work?
Anyhoo 2 questions:
1. Has anyone tried the server list mod on the update?
2. ES, any chance of the map being backed up to an online location so we can download it? Or can you just upload it now for me please? :D

Yea the server list mod doesnt work and neither does higher clouds

Also, there was some sort of second update that I received when logging in. Not sure what its about
 
Quick question. The portal is Obsidian 4x5, and use Flint and Steel to start it, right? Because I did the portal, lit it, and nothing happened. :l
Nevermind, got it. Was doing 4x6 by accident.
