November is inching closer, meaning Modern Warfare 2 marketing efforts will be underway in full force. As such, Monster has teamed with Activision to produce licensed energy drinks promoting Infinity Ward's latest.

Set to show up on shelves in October, a month before the actual game hits, the cans will offer a chance to win the Hardened Edition of MW2, a future map pack slated for release in Spring 2010, exclusive MW2-branded PS3 and Xbox 360 dashboards themes, or more Monster Energy drinks. Look for official details regarding this promotion to go live on the official site later this week.
