PSV MotorStorm RC for Vita Announced, Supports Cross Platform Play

In an announcement detailing the list of launch titles available in Europe for PS Vita, Sony revealed that MotorStorm RC is in development at Evolution Studios.

It's billed as "an addictive racer, with social interaction at the fore." Featured are 24 vehicles, with plenty of post-launch support in the form of DLC and expansion packs planned.

The title will support cross-platform play, meaning your progress will seamlessly transfer across Vita and PS3[...]

I love this idea of cross-platform play.
I remember growing up and thinking about how awesome it would be if cross-platform play was a reality. I got a taste of it with Portal 2, and that was pretty cool.
