MP3 player to PSP

Is it possible for the psp to connect to a MP3 player (or any usb device) and copy files from it. Is there an app that let's the psp "see" other devices and copy/load to them?

Has the Mp3 player got Wi fi? You could connect through PSP Wifile Transfer, i upped it to the Exopohase d/l pages a while back. :) Will work if you got wi fi ;)
 
unfortunately not, there isn't a way to connect something via USB to transfer files to and from on the PSP.

The reason for this is that the PSP doesn't have a USB host controller on it so it cannot communicate with other USB devices. Connecting it to your PC, it connects with the PC's USB host controller and that's why you can use USB with the computer.
 
Ahh well. That makes sense. USB is not my strong point.

Oh and thanks for the wifi suggestion. That would indeed be very cool it it did.
