You can add N+ creators Raigan Burns and Mare Sheppard to the crowd of game developers unhappy with Microsoft's Xbox Live Arcade service. In a revealing interview with Gamasutra, the duo spoke out on the service's quality control issues, and made public their frustrations with the company's certification process.
"They [Live Arcade titles] all suck. It's like, when we started out, we were excited, just like with N. There were 30 games on Live Arcade. If N was one of them, it would stand out. Now there's like a hundred games, and they're all shit," said Burns, who is referring to XBLA titles like Word Puzzle and Toyota's Yaris.
Burns was also displeased with the way Microsoft handles Gamerpics and themes. They wanted to release the content for free, but apparently, Microsoft wouldn't let them due to service policies. Sounds a bit hypocritical when certain Halo themes are available free of charge.
