Hey guys, so before i brick my psp i think it's better to be sure how to do it ... and ask for your help here :w00t:

so, i have 2 psp's ... one is a slim psp 3.90 and the other one is a normal psp 3.73.

I already made a "magic memory stick" and i have the pandora battery ... so can you guys explain me the steps to downgrande and later on install 4.01 M33 ...

i would be very appreciated.


Another thing ... my cousin has a 3.40OE-A ... is there any chance to upgrade to 4.01 M33?
is it worth it?

Your two PSP:

make sure your magik memory stick flashes your system directly to 3.71M33 or 3.80M33 or and M33 series (excluding 3.60M33, as that's only for slims) or else it won't work for the slim

stick in the stick, then the battery, press X and let it go!



Cousin's:
Upgrade to 3.52M33, add the 3.52M33-4 patch,
then you may proceed to 4.01M33.

Ok so, i've sticked the stick in the stick :blushing: and then the pandora... turned psp on and nothing happened, the WLAN led / m.stick led didn't turned on ... any thought on what may be happening? i made this magic stick myself.. and i don't know for sure if it's working.. what should i do?

What'd you make it with? Computer or stuff?
 
i made it with my computer.. windows xp. i followed the steps that came in the readme, it went all ok... i suppose. ehehe

the problem was the magic memory stick i've done before..!

the first one is done! i followed the guide you gave me and i am now a proud owner of a psp 3.90 m33-3 :D thanks alot...

can i now use the pandora on the other two psp's? they're both slims, i misstyped it on my first post... one is a TA-85 with 3.73 ... and the other one is a TA-85 with 3.90.

can i insert my magic stick and the pandora on both of this psp's slims and ... update it to 3.90 m33-3??

excellent. everything worked fine ... i had the problem of the UMD Not Present ... but i went to recovery console and i disabled the umd-mode... it's my first days on psp world...and im loving it, i'll be more participative on this board from now on. thank you so much for your help... i'll try to discover for myself if it's worth it upgrading from 3.90 m33-3 to 4.01

Ok here i am again ... i've been ultra happy with my PSP 3.90 M33-II playing all the games that i want.. but now i need a tip, i still have my pandora battery and i have my magic memory stick... and i'm trying to use it on another PSP just like i did it on mine.. and i can't seem to make it work.
i put the pandora and the magic MS and it simply boots normally to MENU... even the R1 + Power ON doesn't work ... anyone has any idea on what can it be??

ok i solved the problem and got another one... i found that i wasnt being able to start the magic MS because my "LCD/AUDIO" buttons (located under the screen) were doing some bad contact... so i opened the psp i took off the ribbon cable of this buttons (located under the lcd screen) ... then i was able to instal 3.90 m33-2 on my psp... everything ok.

except... when i plugged the ribbon cable again all my other buttons don't work.

anyone ever had this problem?
