The upcoming Dead Island: Riptide will feature both a much darker storyline and a brand new character, revealed Deep Silver. Speaking to VG24/7, Creative Director Sebastian Reichert briefly explained new details surrounding the upcoming tropical zombie fest.

Riptide take place in the beautiful island setting of Palanai. Of course, that beauty will be distorted dramatically due to environmental conditions such as thunderstorms and monsoons.
