Hm, this game looks like something that will disappoint. I'm quite annoyed that they have changed Kirby to look like a squiggle rather than keep him as his normal self, even if that is a pink blob. The graphics looks pretty miserable and the whole yarn thing seems a bit childish.
I can see that they are trying to appeal to younger players but it's a shame that this has made them create a Kirby game of such low calibre. I can only hope that I am proved wrong with what I've seen when I play the game myself.
The Kirby games have always been aimed at kids, at yet Kirby's Dreamland is one of my favourite games ever even with it's basic gameplay and simple graphics.
I'm sure this will be just as good, and I quite like the graphics of the actual stage.
I'm really looking forward to it. I never viewed Kirby as something strictly for kids or for adults, and I love the new graphics style. Kirby has never been a gritty title, and this is just another way of expressing it's 'playfulness.'
Though I've never played a Kirby platformer, Kirby's Avalanche was one of the first few games I played on the SNES when I was a kid. I'm fond of the character, and the graphics do look pretty, so I'll probably give this a try when it comes out.

I wish they'd stuck to graphics that resemble the Dreamland SNES title, that looked more polished. However, it looks like they've incorporated some sort of coin system (top left of the screen indicates that Kirby has collected items?) which I always thought might have made Kirby games that little more interesting.
I'm looking forward to it nevertheless... very excited!
This one does look very interesting! Its a very new and unique style, but I will want to see what this Kirby will bring to the table. I hope a lot of new ideas are integrated into this one!
