New PSP, my buddy is a dumbass.

Sadly, my friend updated my PSP to 3.52 yesterday (bought it, and it was at 2.73 or similer, cant remember exactly) im not sure why he did it but he did it, and now im wondering when the downgrader will appear, any word on it?

i would like to have it as soon as possible because i dont want to go out and buy tons of UMD's (i have 1, LocoRoco, because its addicting)

my understanding is i need to downgrade to 1.50, then "upgrade" to 3.52 by M33?

I'm completely new to this, and heard this was the best forum for this thing. thanks in advance.
 
Well at this time there is no downgrader being worked on. And I wouldn't count on one until after the PSP Slim is released in September.
 
no can do, i got it at a store that is for lack of better words, TOO DAMN FAR AWAY. it was basically a spur of the moment thing. i guess ill just have to wait till the slim comes out, because im sure that will have locked out as much as possible so people will work on the old psp, at least that's what im hoping. but untill then i suppose ill get a couple more umd's, and read up on homebrew, get familiar. ive got time.
 
You should make your friend buy it and slap him out , that's what I would do , I don't let my friends touch any of my stuff at all .
 
haha i already slapped him. his reason was he wanted to play the killzone demo, so he downloaded it and so on and so fourth. oh well.

You could always get a modchip. Take a look at modchipstore.com to find one
 
eh, i dont really want to waist the effort/money when i can be patient. if people are positive one will be released in the future, or at least have a good chance, ill wait for now. ill just have to get a couple more games to hold me over for a while. LocoRoco was amazingly fun and addicting, but i beat it, so i need to move on. anyone have any great games to suggest? any that are worth paying for? i want the ratchet and clank game, that looks fun. and katamari damacy. any suggestions or advice?
 
well what kinda games are you into? At the mo I'm playing monster hunter freedom and its good fun.
 
I heard transformers and R6 vegas is pretty good on psp , havent tried them yet .. I liked katamari damacy on the PSP and if you have a ebay account , I tried my friends gundam game something VS ZAFT xD , was pretty good 2 v 2 battling
 
Rainbow Six Vegas seriously, SERIOUSLY blows, I'm not gonna lie; and IMO Transformers, at least on the 360, was VERY easy, almost depressingly so. I'll have to try that Gundam game.:smile:
 
Yeah cheeze it's pretty sick , like there is so many to choose from and theres a online mode :O , don't get excited , its ad-hoc lol
 
I want to check out the transformers game (huge fan of series and movie, so gotta get it for the fact of having it) and i kinda want killzone. i want some multiplayer games, and some good action/adventure games too. racing i want a good racing one. and some good single player games, dunno how to explain it anymore but everyone might understand what i mean.
 
Killzone online is a must , for some reason it reminds me of half life 2 : death match except from that view
