stupid 3k....well at least it's pretty sure that there will come a CFWE on the PSP 3000...we just don't know when it will come..it could be the next minute,hour,day,month or year....we just don't know! Just be patience...
 
First a CFW should come for psp 3000 and only after that a CFWE can come.
 
Not trying to flame but would be the point of a psp3k CFE if there is CFW for it?
 
If there was CFW, why would ther need to be CFWe??

What i was meaning was that there was a m33 for psp 2k's an the need was to enable it for the new motherboard using CFWE.But there is no m33 or any other CFW for the 3k's.

Has anyone re-uploaded the 2.5 cfwe? The original mirror has reached its 10 dl's limit.
And also,is this version supposed to be installed like the previous ones (copy files to flash) cuz i'm pretty sure that modifying these m33 modules like every 2 days with a new update will give you problems.

Dragoneon you do realize that CFW and CFE are pretty much the same thing in terms of what they can do right:sleep:.

CFW is much better though because you only have to run the installation once and we have access to the IPLs meaning creating a CFE afterwards would be pointless.

Someone correct me if I am wrong or add to this ;).
 
I hope someone is doing a work for the IPL(v3) to be able for us to have CFw, Hello to D_A I wish he did not leave the PSP scene, but as the saying goes "Be contented on what you have right now" so im happy with my Hen and CFWe
 
I'd say the closest to a CFW the 3k gets is using some firmware to bootstrap a patched version of some newer firmware, like 1.50 was used with the SE/OE/first few M33s.

But then again, I could be wrong too. Maybe the pre-IPL will still have an exploit. :-P
 
hey did you checked exophase forums a guy had the dumpers that dumps certain file like IPL, Kernel Memory, and Nand..,I think it succeed on dumping but I think it has minor bug., because it was an older file., but I think someone can release a MOD..

We can't dump the pre-ipl because it's inaccessible once it's loaded and goes on to load the normal ipl.
 
Some people like BrokenCodes has dumped part of the PSP TA-88v3 Pre-IPL and i think they are doing that method even though it fails a lot and it doesn't dump much code in one go. Does anyone know how he did it?

Dark Alex hasn't left the scene! That was just a myth... And if he ever decides to leave (which i'm sure nobody except Sony would like),it is his own choice and he'll surely announce it.In conclusion-Dark Alex is still in the game!:)
