Noob in the need of help. Making a psp mms

So, I made a hard modded PHAT pandora battery, and have a 2 gigabyte Sony MagicGate memory stick. I am now trying to make a Magic Memory Stick, since I already have the pandora.
So far, I've tried PSP Deluxe, and Easy Installer as my main methods to making the mms. I've also tried Rain's Ultralite MMS Maker for 4.01 M33-2. The Deluxe and Easy Installer, installed files onto my Memory Stick. However when I tried putting the pandora battery into the PSP, the green light comes on, but nothing flickers and the screen just stays black.

Note: I am running a Vista OS 32-bit operating system, and have a PSP-2000 Slim model which is running on Official Firmware 3.60. I am trying to change it into custom firmware.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks a lot in advance.

The pandora battery on its own will make just the green light come on and nothing else, the problem must lie with the MMS.

Which IPL did you use? You should use the TM-ipl. Have you used the correct boot squence i.e Hold LTRIGGER and insert battery.? Is it a magic gate supported MS? Fakes are rarely successful as MMS.

Those programs have worked for loads including myself so it aint them.
 
have used rains mms creator, TOTALNewbie and Pandora deluxe, none work!

What do u have to run admin ur computer on vista or the psp, i also have vista and used pandora universal easy installer and im getting the green light only can someone help?????????
 
ok, im now on 5.00 m33-4 and i will tell you what i used.

rains ultra lite mms maker, use 4.01 m33 installer and also download the 4.01 EBOOT.

it will take quite a while but it WILL WORK!

get your ms and put it in your psp before pandora battery.

hold L button and while doing that put in pandora.

now it will come up with a screen and choose install 4.01 M33

well if you go check out zzk2001 on youtube it could help, many tuts on creating magic memory stick its simple easy, lots of instruction, when i started playing with CFW's and such on mi slim thats where i went showed me how to make the battery and memstick in like 10 mins >.<
