Consumer Nvidia Announces GTX 780 Ti

With AMD's GPU offerings on the high end set to debut later this month in the form of the R9 290 and R290X, Nvidia isn't sitting idle. The company announced during its Montreal press event that a successor to the GTX780 is due in mid-November, aptly named the GTX780 Ti.

No specs were divulged, unfortunately, though it's likely we'll be hearing more in the coming weeks as November isn't too far off.

Need dem benches. It's a confusing point really, they have the 780 and then a Titan. There isn't much room inbetween besides it being just an OC'd 780 or a less scaled down Titan

Yeah, I hope it is faster than Titan at the current 780 price. Then the price on the regular 780 can take a hit. But that may be wishful thinking... whatever they end up doing will really bank on how competitive the R290 and R290x is most likely.

Perhaps not to upset Titan owners, they can gimp the double precision performance (only really matters for certain compute scenarios). It would be better if they just phased the Titan out though, $1k for that card is just silly now.
