I'm still skeptical about this.

It sounds like a good concept, actually an awesome concept but not everyone has god-like internet (what's the minimum required for this to work?). Plus what about server down-times and other stuff?

It was covered in the first thread, try to dig it up :)

About 2.5 MB/s for standard def iirc.

I have 8 mbps so I guess I'm covered should I want it...

I'll give it a try provided there's a demo. I can't imagine this working all that amazingly well though.

I could care less for it
1- i still like buying my games pyhical copy (none that future crap, just because tech is out doesn't mean I must like it.)
2- Ruin whole idea collecting games
3-(can't pay for internet) If internet turns off you have no way to play your games(power, system down etc)
4- Im happy with owning consoles
5- Used games are cheeper then pre-set price forever, even if they lower price once or twice.
6-Good example of 5 is- Red Alert3 for pc, I got my copy for 10$ while on steam its 30$.
7-They must do some kind system where I can buy my CD's, and able resell them.
8-What if someone hacks into my account? or it get remove from the system?
All my games I rent, or buy would be gone.

My point is, even if the tech is there doesn't mean its always great.
This is nothing more then mere "Phantom" system. (I found phantom system on comment on gamespot or ign comments)

Even if this do great it would never replace Physical copies or Digital.
Normally I would hate digital copy, but its waaay better have file then to stream it. I know people who don't have internet,or crappy internet.
Call it a god gaming system as you please, but there going be downfalls.
No way Nitendo,Microsoft,Sony would allow there games on this system.
Only one them would break (Its going be Sony,or Microsoft) To take up on this offer.

Oh did I mention fact if you get ban, you might lose all your games.
There going be Pro and Cons to this, teens-adults are going go carzy and jump right on this without thinking.

Yea fix the video stream, but they lower the quality of the game in someway to play.
Think of lag during mutiplayer games, you might get past stage 1, but if your connection is almost at it limits+servers for mutiplayer. MAJOR LAG.

(everything above is broken into sections, ideas relating to other user comments on other forums, and sites.)

TL;DR(to long didn't read)
Im still for phsical copies, and digtal. The system steam has in place works just fine. Lower in retail game prices don't forget steaming you don't get limited editions anymore!Halo3 helm, toys, and all that stuff you get with modern war2,plus there still chance for digtal copies to be bought.

It would suck if gamestop, game department in stores goes it because of this.
